About Our Organization
The Inter Religious Federation for World Peace (IRFWP) is a 25 year old initiative for world peace through interreligious dialogue and harmony.
IRFWP was founded by Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon in 1991 in an effort to integrate numerous, independent, interreligious initiatives into a more effective and far ranging organization for peace.
IRFWP adheres strictly to an inviolable code of respect for each religion, relying upon the power of trust, respect, and collaboration to provide the environment in which religions can bring their respective treasures to bear upon advancing substantially the realization of enduring peace.
IRFWP has representatives in 192 countries and a database with thousands of active partners, religionists in the academy, clergy, and grass roots leadership.

About Our Website
www.irfwp.org is the website of the Inter Religious Federation for World Peace (IRFWP). The concept for the site departs from the traditional purpose of introducing and promoting the work of just our own organization.Visitors to the site easily access essential knowledge about the philosophy, activities, publications, and history of the IRFWP, through a natural and intuitive design for navigation. But mere introduction and self promotion is not the primary purpose of www.irfwp.org . Its front page is its kitchen table, a place for discussion, debate, news, and a little fun, all of it to do with religion and peace. Column 1, Commentary is alive and provocative. Agree, disagree, write back, contribute your own positions. Our Contact Us page is your way to provide feedback. If your comment is selected, we'll post it to the site. Commentary belongs to everyone who cares about religion and peace and wants a voice in the matter. Column 2, News and Events, likewise is not limited to IRFWP activities. All good done for the sake of peace should have a note stuck to our bulletin board. Tell us what you’ve done or what’s coming up, and we’ll have it up there. Our Calendar is there too. It lets people know what’s going on. www.irfwp.org has depth, and the rooms of the house are being developed and made finer day by day. So you can wander around to some of the more quiet places and get into the IRFWP more deeply. But there should always be a buzz around the table. Come by and bring your news and your opinions.
